Cancellation proceeding may occur following the registraton of your
trademark. Once your trademark is Registered, 3rd parties then have the opportunity to try to Cancel your Registration on various grounds if they feel that your trademark should not be Registered. Cancellation proceedings procedurally are similar to litigations, however, the only outcome is whether or not the Registrant’s trademark should remain Registered.
